Practical Training and Assessment - 2 Weeks

On successful completion of the final theory part of your course you will undertake instructor led practical training in one of our City & Guilds approved and Corgi Registered training centres. This will provide you with the core practical training skills you will need in preparation for your knowledge and practical assessments leading to your examination.

Week 1:
C&G 6022 Copper Pipework Installation plus Domestic Shovers

Week 2:
C&G 6032 Sanitary accommodation installation, maintenance & design (Bathroom Installation) Plus 1999 Water Regulations

Foundation Program Ends.

Completion of pre-attendance study modules 1-13 and successful completion/submission of assignments

Week 1

City & Guilds 6022 - Copper Pipework Installation practical & theory assessments

Week 2

City & Guilds 6032 - Sanitary accommodation installation, maintenance & design (Bathroom installation)

The 2 weeks of attendance will require you to successfully complete:

Week 4

City & Guilds 6032 - Sanitary accommodation installation, maintenance & design (Bathroom installation)

The make-up of the electrical industry, its sectors and various registration bodies (the Jargon).
Electrical Safety and pre-work visual inspection
Safe electrical isolation techniques and verification using test instrumentation

Electrical Supplies (Domestic Circuits), the understanding and installation of:

Domestic Electrical Installation & Maintenance

Electrical Materials and equipment

Test, Inspection & Certification of Domestic Electrical Installations

Bpec Certificated - Defined Scope Part P qualification
